Associating a site with a hub site will not show old news pages inside the hub site

Usually and index deal. Try editig one of the missing pages and then just publishing again so it triggers an index, see if it shows up.

- Dec 06, 2018Just try to edit one of those news articles and publish it, Wait 5-10 minutes, if it doesn't show up, then what you want to do is go check that site the news is on, make sure it's not a group connected site. If it is, make sure you are listed on the office 365 members for that connected group, wait 10 then check. Same for the hub site itself. It's most likely going to be one of those 3 things.
- Dec 06, 2018Doesn’t matter. When you used to manually remove news from a page connected to a hub by using promoted state it would never be removed from the news until you modified the page to cause an index since the promoted state wouldn’t. Thinking it could be the same in this case but opposite.
