Altering Office templates behaviour in SharePoint librarys
So i have a customer that has more templates in their library than fits in the "New" button. Anyone figured out how i can open stored templates in SharePoint as new documents instead for starting edi...

It changes the view of standard new item callout. It can work not so fine (ma be there is no scrolling in area of templates or content types, or the links can be not correct for you) for you solution, but it is opensourced and you can change it for you needs. May be this product can help you to find the solution for your problems
