All Folders and Files say modified by the same person

Hello all - 

I have a client that has their server files synching with sharepoint via OneDrive. Every one of the files and folders has the name of the person that set this up on them. Is there any way to remove that name and allow it to show the names of the people who are actually doing the creating and modifying?
