Add new field to SharePoint new item list entry
Hello, I am looking to see if there is a way to add an existing field to a new item. I have a list in SharePoint where when creating New Items, it doesn't allow the user to enter a Status. But ...

imelendez I am having this same issue - were you able to resolve it?
I believe list forms were customized using JavaScript in case of imelendez problem.
ginganinja Are you also using the customized list forms? Which version of SharePoint are you using? Are you using modern experience or classic experience?
