Add additional domain to SharePoint Online tenant
Hi,
My company is in the middle of an acquisition. The company we are acquiring has an SPO tenant as does my company. Both companies host their email in O365 as well. The companies both sync there AD to O365. We will continue to operate with two domains and two O365 tenancies for some time,
I want to configure both SPO tenancies to treat the users in the other companies domain as ‘internal users’. I don’t want to go to each site collection and enable CompanyB.com as allowed Sharing. I was hoping to do this on a global level.
I am a SharePoint admin on our tenant, but not a tenant admin. How can I make my tenant treat users at CompanyB.Com as internal users?
Thanks

- AnonymousUnfortunately this is not possible today. I think there is going to be some things discussed at ignite when it comes to mergers and what not around some of those capabilities they are working on, but right now, it's not a great experience when it comes to merging tenants/ renaming tenants, treating tenants as one etc.
