About the SharePoint [Alert me]
Hi All
I found a problem in SharePoint [Alert me] setting.
I have set a Alert in Document Library as blew.
>The Alert is set by me: Tobey
>[Send Alerts To] also is me: Tobey
>I set only one Alert in this library
But when I (Tobey) deleted a document as above setting then I received a Alert mail about I deleted one document.
I think the alert setting is when [someone else] changed a document not me can receive the alert mail so I shouldn't receive the alert mail Am I right?
Can someone can explain this behavior.
Thanks!
Tobey.

Hi Tobey Davies - Alerts are not behaving as I expect in my tenant. Specifically when anything is changed about an item displayed in a particular List view. This has me wondering if Alerts "have fallen off the SharePoint Online truck" and they are no longer reliable. What have you learned since you posted your question\observation? Thanks - Greg

Yes, it's weird. In Spanish is just Someone (Alguien), not Someone else.
Alternatively you could create a view filtered on column "Modified by" not equal [me], and set the alert on that view.
