Status of a task that has already expired appearing as "future task"?
I'm controlling my project very rigorously, but I hardly use the task status column, even though it's necessary. Today I was printing a report with overdue tasks and I missed many tasks, I looked at the cause and I see that some tasks that are overdue have the status of future tasks, where is the error now?
Example:
Task NameDurationStartFinishStatus
XYZ | 5 days | 24/02/24 | 29/02/24 | Future Task |
Looking:
The green line is today and the task hasn't even started yet in the gantt.

Project considers task status relative to the status date, not today's date.Possibly the Status Date of your project is before 02/24/24, which is when these two tasks begin.

IgnacioIgnacio_Martin Wow thank you very much! I'm a beginner and I'm still learning. What you told me made a lot of sense, in my head it updated itself according to the current day, not that it would be a manual process for me to update the date.
