Schedule report chart editing

Hello Guys,

I am trying to edit the chart to hide the resource legends that have no value or the ones that are not used. The bar chart itself is very small but the unused legends are taking most of the space in the chart. How can i fix it?

Let's start with a couple of questions.

    1. What version of Project are you using?

    2. Exactly which report chart are you referring to?

      1. I am using Project 2024. Version 2407 Build 17830.20138
      2. I am creating a custom report showing the resources utilization on weekly basis, to compare the budgeted/ actual resource utilization.

      Thanks!

        JB,
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I only have Project 2019 which does not have resource utilization report, (it must have been added a later version), so I can't help you. Hopefully, someone else will jump in with help.

If you click anywhere in the chart, Microsoft Project should display three floating buttons to the upper right corner of the chart. If you float your mouse pointer over the buttons individually, you should see that they are the Chart Elements button (it looks like a big + button), the Chart Styles button (it looks like a paintbrush button), and the Chart Filters button (it looks like a funnel button). Click the Chart Filters button. In the flyout menu, you should be able to hide the values for the resources that are not being used. Hope this helps.
