Changes not visible to others

We use Project 2016 at work.

I've created a Project plan on a SharePoint that is accessible to others. But we're continually having issues where someone will make a change then the other person goes in and it's not visible to them. But the version the "editor" can open still shows there changes.

We thought it was because we weren't checking in and out but that hasn't made a difference. We are opening in the desktop app too, not the online version, and they are .mpp files.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it's driving me insane and my massive company IT team have been no help!

MS project pro is do not support collaboration in that fashion, it do not work as part of the Office 365 online applications. you need Project online or project server to have some sort of collaboration but both do not support co-editing. P4W or other solutions might fit your requirements more

malshayeb Thank you for replying. I don't need co-editing at the same time. But I need people to be able to check it out, edit, then check it back in for others to see. I will see if Project Online will work better for me. Thanks again.
