I'm only replying becuase I now see the humor in the complete ineptitude of this entire process. I thought, after starting my company, I'd be able to apply for and get "partner" status swiftly then move on to my business (which was going to be helping small businesses look large by leveraging enterprise tools).
Turns out MS seems to have outsourced all of its competency to its own AI - which is very A and not really I.
I have since completely given up and moved on. I sincerely wish the best for any/all of you trying to get where you know you need to be.
