Ongoing Issue with Employment Verification in Microsoft Partner Program
First of all, I'm sorry for your poor experience.
Secondly, can you share what support sent you as a message? Either your documents aren't passing the verification standards, or your company doesn't meet the partnership standards they are dictating.
If you are getting a message around your paperwork not being accepted, it is most often one of the following issues:
- Your registered name in partner center MUST match your domain paperwork down to the letter and "'." List it EXACTLY!
- Domain paperwork cannot expire within two months of today's date. If it does, you will not be verified.
- Domain paperwork has to be dated within the last 12 months. Nothing prior to Jan 13 of 2024 (todays date). Tomorrow that changes to 12 months from that date, and so on.
Please double check your paperwork against this commonly made mistakes on submission and maybe you will figure out what is causing you to be denied.
Good luck!

Same here. Company Name EXACTLY match what whois output, our domain expires in 16 months and it was renewed well before the terms just a week ago. "Fix now" does absolutely nothing and no response on ticket after document submission. This is hopeless.- figaleJan 23, 2025Brass Contributor
I'm stuck at the same place and got a response from a support specialist asking me to upload documents by clicking Fix Now, but that does nothing. It just makes the whole verification restart and go to pending:

Exactly the same. I uploaded my license and it was still rejected, then my support cases were closed immediately. Not what you want when providing personal government identification and data.

We get your job is to gatekeep but this is an insulting response Jill. We are doing exactly that and still getting rejected without explanation. Someone in the vetting team is a sadist and should be fired immediately. This is not how you communicate to prospective partners and your patronizing responses are not helping either. This is beyond unacceptable in 2025.

Thank you for your response and for trying to provide clarity regarding this issue.
I have carefully reviewed all the documentation and details related to my account. I can confirm the following:
- My registered name in the Partner Center matches exactly with the legal documentation provided.
- The domain paperwork is within the specified time frame and has been updated accordingly.
- All submissions strictly follow the guidelines and standards outlined by Microsoft.
Despite ensuring full compliance, the system continues to reject the verification, and I am not provided with any specific feedback or details on what might be wrong. This creates a frustrating loop, as I am unable to identify the issue or make corrections if necessary.
If there are any additional details or requirements that I may have overlooked, I would appreciate a more specific explanation to help resolve this matter. I am fully committed to resolving this issue and have double-checked every piece of information to ensure its accuracy.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

We're having exactly the same problem and have checked all documentation numerous times. Even created a new user where the username is identical to my legal name. Contacted vetting support a few times and now they just close the tickets without even responding, claiming they have the right to close the tickets without giving a reason.
Have just checked the portal again to see if there's any change and now it says DENIED rather than rejected or reviewing. Not sure how to resolve this and it is causing all number of issues as we're trying to migrated our acquired business (with the partnership) over to our main business. This is limiting our ability to expand our AI business to our main client base.
Started this process in November and have not found or received anything helpful, just the same generic responses.

younesonesI'm in the exact same boat. The vetting team seems to either be:
1) told to stall the verification request or have decided that themselves2) completely incompetent to read documents
3) sadists who enjoy creating a terrible business interaction
It's insane someone is still in that job in any case! The forum is chockful with people complaining about the same thing and no one in Microsoft is doing anything about it.

My account was active again today. I don't have any explanation related to the issue, was just enabled again. I believe that they don't have real people behind the verification process and looks like is more of an automatic validation process, that is the reason all people is stuck in a loop. So for now my account has returned to active again. But surely if Microsoft wants apps in the Microsoft Store, should make all development experience processes less complicated and smoothly.
I have deployed apps in all Stores (Apple, Android, Microsoft), and overall on Apple and Android are way way better, everything is more faster and easier. I feel like the Microsoft Store (Console) is just broken, one issue here, another bug there, support doesn't work, the timing after updating an app is too slow, and in general, the quality of their console is too low.
