Account Verification after Publishing Driver

Hi everyone,

I successfully submitted a kernel driver to Microsoft several years ago and was able to see my driver's statistics for a while after that. Now, Microsoft wants me to go through account verification (developer id:86985290). My EV Certificate that I used to submit my driver to Microsoft has already expired. Was the account verification process triggered by expiration of my EV Certificate or it is not related? If I do the account verification, will I be able to see my driver's statistics without getting a new EV Certificate?
