Windows Outlook Mail

For the last 2 weeks, my Windows Outlook mail suddenly stopped loading on my Windows 10 computer. A few days ago I was able to re-install it and it worked well up until the morning of May 18, 2026 but when I tried to access it in the evening it would not load again. I downloaded the app from the Microsoft store but again, it will not load. Is Microsoft disabling Outlook for users who have not yet transitioned to Windows 11? I am in a desperate situation because I rely on my saved emails and am expecting some important emails.

I downloaded the Outlook app again last night and it worked. However, although I had the icon on my taskbar last night, today it disappeared but it still opens from the desktop. So as of now, I do not need any further help thank you.

      Hello Robert,

Thanks for your response. I am a Windows 10 user and have always used applicable mail apps for whatever Microsoft Edition I was using over the 30 years that I have been a Microsoft user (my computer most recently transitioned from Windows Mail to Outlook Mail). I never encountered a problem access my Microsoft emails until 2 weeks ago when my Windows mail icon suddently stopped loading, which caused me a great deal of inconvenience, so I had to access through a longer, round-about method. Then last Saturday (May 16), I was successfully able to install the app again on my taskbar from the Microsoft store and it loaded and worked well for 2 days. Then again the app again disappeared from my computer. I still have the Outlook app on my desktop but it does not load when I click on it. Consequently, I cannot tell you what version it is but its whatever is compatible with Windows 10 computer.
