Unable to reset password for outlook account

Hi,

I am able to access my outlook account from my android mobile(outlook app), but i was unable to access it outside as i forgot the password. I tried to reset my account but i aws getting response like the information provided was not enough. Can you please help if there is any way to recover and reset my account with out old password.
