The operation cannot be performed because the message has been changed

This "operation cannot be performed..." message is a serious problem and interferes with my work far too often. There doesn't appear to be any valid purpose for this annoyance. I have taken the actions described in your help messages to no avail.  Surely MS has a real and permanent solution for this problem.  Please help me remove the need to go back and recreate email messages.

MS doesn't seem to care about this problem. It has been happening as far back as 2016 and possibly before.  It is not only annoying but frustrating after spending time to compose a carefully considered reply to an issue to find that it cannot be sent with one click, but requires copying and pasting into another new email before sending.  I am changing to a rival email program today.  I have had enough of paying to have my time wasted.

MS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS !!

i read somewhere in OUTLOOK help that it was due to using OUTLOOK 2016 with Microsoft 365. However I have only fairly recently encountered this problem. I found that saving the email to the default folder, reopening it , that I can then send it without retyping .

No. It has been going on for a very long time. Pathetic.

Since writing this help message, I have found that MS is not answering any of the similar questions. I'm just wondering if MS support is just refusing to answer these legitimate questions. We all pay dearly to use MS products and we expect support when needed!!!

Amen to that. This annoying problem has been going on for years.
