Syncing Gmail Account to Outlook App
Hello, I’m having issues syncing my gmail account to the outlook email on my Mac and iPhone, I’m able to sign in to get new emails but will not sync to the point it’s showing emails previously delete...
Try this...
Log into your Gmail account via web browser.
Click the Gear and go then click 'See all settings'
On the top menu click 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
In the 'IMAP access' section, and set the following 2 settings...
When I mark a message in IMAP as deleted:
X Auto-Expunge off - Wait for the client to update the server.
When a message is marked as deleted and expunged from the last visible IMAP folder:
X Move the message to the Trash
--OR--
X Immediately delete the message forever
I fixed this problem for a client just a few minutes ago using this process.
