Sync of Quick Steps in MS 365 Outlook Desktop with Outlook Online
Hi, how come Quick Steps set up in the Desktop app are not sync'd to Online? They must have at some stage because a whole lot of previous ones for me are Online, but they aren't being updated.

By design, some of the classic quick steps will not work in New Outlook or web versions for now. In New Outlook, the rules criteria are limited to received messages.

Thanks Teresa, are you saying that this is Microsoft policy?
I make extensive use of Quick Steps as they are a great productivity booster. Across the accounts I have, I've maxed out at the maximum number quick steps allowed, which is 150 and ridicoulisly low.
For MS 365, Quick Steps are apparently stored in Exchange, so why not replicate them in Outlook online? They sync nicely across the different PCs that I use Outlook desktop on.
Remember, Microsoft is rebuilding New Outlook from scratch. I suspect the ability to set rules and create quick steps for sent messages is coming, but they have not said when. The incoming rules-related quick steps are synced and accessible in all apps.
Also, any quick steps created in Classic must be revised in the same app. This means that if you create quick steps in New Outlook or the web, they must be revised in that app. Check out this video; I shared a tip so you can visually know where the quick steps were created. https://youtu.be/UeyDWeSc9jQ?si=svTy3BbPBi3YD896&t=127.
