Sync email - Unable to load these settings. Please try again later.
For over a week, I have had the message "Unable to load these settings. Please try again later." in my "Sync email" settings in Outlook.com.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Same thing happening to me.
I can't believe there's been a problem since 2022 and it's 2024 now. Are they even trying?

- kballsCopper ContributorThe sync settings UI started working for me yesterday so I used it to delete all my synced accounts. I've been using Gmail to sync my Comcast account already, so I'm done using Outlook for syncing, I'll never trust it again. By all observations (like taking nearly two years to fix this), the consumer app has gone to Sustained Engineering and has no full-time engineers, and they don't use the product enough to know when it's broken and/or they don't watch the community forums, so we can only rely on it for the most basic core functionality, not extra features.

I have been having this problem for a week. And every day Microsoft sends me an email saying they have been unable to sync my email, with tidy instructions on how to fix it which doesn't work. I can receive emails but I can't forward or send them. Completely unacceptable by Microsoft. Bill Gates should stop buying US farmland and make a phone call to someone at Microsoft to fix this. I am 48 hours from switching to Gmail. DonnyM

I am having the same issue as well. This has happened before, but is happening again. Why does Microsoft not get this sorted, it is so annoying to keep getting emails saying that the email could not be synced to not be able to go in and update! Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

I half expect them to completely remove the feature for those of us who are grandfathered in. (If you remove the only connected account, the feature disappears immediately.)
I recommend users contact outlook.com support to report it.
Log into Outlook.com on the web using a PC or Mac. If you log in from a mobile device, you need to use the desktop site.
Click the ? icon on the Help tab to open the Help menu.
Type a question. Scroll to the end of the research results and click Yes for Still need help?.

Please try again later." So now I can't get Comcast email without going directly to comcast.com and logging in separately.
Also, why can't we change these settings from Android (always have to use a Windows PC)? I can't even use desktop mode in the Android browser, it just gives a high-res version of the same dumbed-down mobile app.

I went off the new outlook mail in an attempt to gain access. Nothing changed.
Frustrating!- MarkseachanteysingerCopper ContributorNot sure what is going on. In past posts, I saw a reference to Microsoft having a server issue. So, that suggests the problem is with Microsoft. I am still awaiting patiently. Though, I am especially tempted to look at another email managing program.

Same here. Just added an additional email account, but neither the new nor the existing accounts allow me to forward mail. This has always been a basic feature on any email app I've used and I can't conceive how Microsoft isn't all over this.

Was disconnected from Outlook 2010 Exchange server on March 9th. No reconnection since. Thought it was legacy issue with 2010. Upgraded to Office 2021 on a new PC and cannot find any information on setting up 2021 Outlook so it syncs via Exchange Server like 2010. Spent 3 hours on Chat with MS agent and he's finally passed me over to the Outlook.com team. All I want is my non-microsoft email address to sync with outlook.com as it did in 2010 via Exchange Server.
