Outlook stays disconnected

Hi all,

Anybody knows any good ideas how to get Outlook back to connected? Yes, I know by closing Outlook and opening again does this. But I would like to understand why this is happening and is there a possibilities to avoid this.

Going to offline and then trying to get back to online does not help.

Also, what is difference between offline and disconnected? And isn't expected that Outlook is trying to reconnect to mailbox?

To get this state I wake up my workstation from sleep at home and connection to Exchange requires VPN. When the workstation went to the sleep mode, I was in VPN and Outlook was connected.

I also tested [Reconnect] on "Outlook Connection Status" -dialog.
