Dharmiksukhadiya Unfortunately, they removed this options from "New Office". I've gave them feedback about it (it is just a waste of space on a portrait display)

Sadly, I have read users saying this worked, but in my Outlook Desktop 16.x for Mac, that option is not available. I do not know how to remove this new thing that takes more space from screen

Thanks for posting this! I can't stand changes that take away my screen space.

Except they are going to take this solution away from us.

That's because they plan to replace the desktop Outlook entirely with the web version running as an embedded Chromium app (like Teams or Slack). Give feedback on that as well because it's a terrible RAM-slaughtering idea that will remove 75% of the functionality of Outlook.

Why would they do this and allow a lot of other things to be customized? Being on the left is a waste of space as it only shows 4 icons while everything below that is empty in the nav bar.

Dharmiksukhadiya this worked perfectly, thankyou.  This change was applied following an update and although a minor thing would have driven me crazy!!

Step 1: Right click Start > Run > regedit
Step 2: Navigate to the following registry key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Office > 16.0 > Common > ExperimentEcs > Overrides
Locate the ‘Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar’ string value and set it to ‘false’. Then click OK and restart Outlook to check if it works.
Step 3: If the string “Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar” doesn’t exist, create it by right-clicking on Overrides in the left pane and selecting New > String Value then Paste “Microsoft.Office.Outlook.Hub.HubBar” in the new entry that appears in the right pane
Step 4: Double-click the new name
Step 5: Enter “False” in the Value data field and Click OK
Step 6: Close and restart Outlook

    Hope This Works,
    Peter
