Outlook for Mac drops attachments
My outlook for Mac fails to send attachments, the paperclip icon disappears a few seconds after sending the email and the attachment disappears. I have cleared the cache but it hasn't resolved it. My 365 apps are up to date and I am running Ventura 13.4.1
Anyone got any ideas?

ActionPlus I'm also suffering from this and have had to move our entire team to webmail until this is resolved!
Looks like this issues here has re-emerged (although I don't know if it's to do with signing or encryption - seems to affect emails randomly.
Both attachments and inline images in footers for me get wiped.
Help please Microsoft, you've broken something!
- Metten_NLCopper ContributorHi just chipping in here - Lots of our users (we have 250-300 active users) are (still) having this issue, all working on recent versions of 'new' Outlook for Mac. Not everybody is having the issue and i'm completely failing to recreate the same issue on my own Mac.
While still 'randomly' affecting users, we do see this happening more and more often. For now we have suggested to switch back to 'old outlook' for most users but this is is definitely not a viable solution to us. MS is slow to respond on our support tickets as well.- ActionPlusCopper ContributorGREAT NEWS ! version 16.76 will be released mid August which fixes this issue, so hang in there all, if you are signed up to Insider you can select BETA 16.76 and your problem will be fixed now

Hi folks do we know if 16.76 resolved the 'disappearing attachments' issue? Because I'm running that version and having the same exact problem on my Mac. However I did not (as of yet) delte all my O365 apps and reinstall them. Thanks. ActionPlus

ActionPlus I'm getting the same thing. Seems to be every time I send an attachment, regardless of whether it's a new mail I'm composing, a reply to a thread, or a mail I'm forwarding. What's interesting is, when the recipient complains and I add the same attachments to my apology, they are always sent second time around.
I have a feeling this is related to OneDrive. I've had a few occasions recently where I've clicked to open a file that's synced with my local hdd and a message has appeared saying the file couldn't be found or a helper couldn't be found... something like that. Again, when I click on it a 2nd time, it opens fine.- ActionPlusCopper ContributorDont think its OneDrive, we use Dropbox.
- Steve HollandCopper ContributorUpdate: Spoken to MS Outlook support and they've confirmed this is a bug which has been given a high priority to fix. It seems like a VERY SERIOUS bug to me, rendering one of their premier business tools effectively unusable. Let's see how long it takes them...
- ActionPlusCopper ContributorThat's different to what they told me and I quote "365 for Mac is fully operational, this must be a glitch with your OS, we suggest you consult a MAC specialist !

We are having the same problem on two of our Macs. It is a bit random.

Same issue here impacting all MacOS machines ActionPlus Currently having to use webmail.
- ActionPlusCopper ContributorI have deleted all 365 apps off my Mac and reinstalled them and it now seems to be working

ActionPlus Did you simply delete the apps from the application folder, then proceed with the fresh installation? Or, did you also delete the files in the Library directories?
Also, once you reinstalled... did you run any updates on any of the Office apps? Or leave as is at install?
Thanks in advance! 😄
- ActionPlusCopper ContributorSo I installed a new 365 set and then updated all the apps, this worked all day yesterday, this morning it has reverted and is once again removing all attachments and images from every email I send. Pernille-Eskebo what is going on!!!

ActionPlus I am getting the same problem. Randomly drops attachments. Can be on a new email, a reply or a forward. Have all MS updates installed and on Ventura 13.4.1. Started within last couple of weeks. Very disruptive and embarrassing to send from business account and repeatedly receive messages back from customers and vendors that attachments are missing.
- jminasCopper ContributorSame problem. 3 MACs in the office, all running on the same version of Ventura and all subscribed to the same O365 account. I'm the only one whose Outlook fails to send the attachment with the email. I can sometimes get it to go through if I close Outlook and restart it, but after the first email, it reverts to failing to send the attachment again. Have uninstalled and reinstalled all Office apps and still have the problem. Posting here just so I can follow and see when this gets resolved.

ActionPlus This is a fault that is affecting all our Macs, but there is a small work around. The attachment has to be the LAST thing you do before clicking send. Do anything else, add another attachment or review the email in anyway and the attachment goes.
I'm using 16.76.2 which updated today and the fault is still there and it is annoying!!
Don't think OneDrive or DB have anything to do with it/
- PMOJoeCopper ContributorI've done the update and all Mac related updates as well and I still have the issue. Quite embarrassing when you get notified multiple times that your attachments aren't included. I saw the message about adding the attachment as the last thing before sending. I've tried that and it didn't work for me. Unfortunately, still at the mercy of MS and a fix for this 😞
