Outlook for Android Search Returns No Items
Have had Outlook installed on my android for some time and search has stopped working. It returns no items. I have cleared data, cleared cache and readded all emails. I have uninstalled and reinstalled per the recommendation here: android outlook server search not working - Microsoft Community Hub
Still not working. Any ideas or recommendations?
- The Search on my Android device stopped working some 6 months ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have moved all my emails from all folders and then once I received a couple of new emails (2 to be precise) I tried to search for them but still get the message of No Results. I have tried all permutations of search but no luck.....any ideas?

abinth744 - thanks. I found that the search only works when searching ALL mailboxes. But then you need to sort through a bigger list than necessary.
- Yes, it seems this is a shortcoming in the software. The workaround is to put in the search item click on the down arrow next to the home icon (looks like a house) and then hit 'all accounts' on the drop down menu. Then hit the search icon again. But it doesn't stay as a default - you have to do this every time.
