Outlook.com Spell Check
Hi:
Using the latest Outlook.com to compose an e-mail.
The spell check gives me a fail for partial words (screen grab attached) which are spelled correctly.
This happens now and then. Not serious. Just an annoyance.

This issue is intermittent, and I am not able to reproduce it at will. It may take some time before I can do further troubleshooting.

That partial-word underline looks like the spell checker may not be refreshing correctly as you type, rather than an actual spelling mistake.
Try deleting and retyping one affected word, including the space after it. If the underline returns, check whether both your browser’s spell checker and an extension such as Microsoft Editor or Grammarly are enabled. Temporarily turn one off to see whether that makes a difference.
Which browser are you using? Outlook.com can have more than one spelling tool checking the same text.
The screenshot shows underlining affecting part of otherwise correctly spelled text, so adding the whole word to a dictionary may only hide the symptom. Outlook.com and your browser can both provide writing assistance; first establish which one is producing the mark. Type the same sentence manually into a new draft and compare Outlook's Editor pane with the inline underline. Check that the proofing language matches your text. If you use Edge, compare its Basic writing assistance with Microsoft Editor, changing one setting at a time so the result is meaningful. Then test Outlook.com in another browser with the same account. Avoid adding incorrect fragments to your dictionary. If only Outlook's Editor reproduces the problem, submit feedback with the exact sentence, language, browser version and screenshot. If only one browser does, report the writing-assistance behavior there instead.
