Outlook 365
In the old Outlook I could drag Word, Excel, JPG, PDF files to a specifik folder under In-box and release. Then the file would be saved here.
I can't do this in my 365. Do I need some kind of upgrade to be able to do this or is it just some kind of settings I need to change?

In Outlook 365, you can still drag and drop files into specific folders, but the process might be slightly different depending on your specific Outlook version and configuration. Here are some troubleshooting steps:
- Verify Basic Functionality:
- Open Outlook 365
- Navigate to your Inbox
- Try dragging a file from File Explorer directly into a specific folder
- Check if the file appears in that folder
- Check Save Options:
- Right-click the folder you want to save files in
- Select "Properties"
- Ensure the folder is set up for saving attachments
- Potential Fixes:
- Ensure you're using the desktop Outlook application, not the web version
- Verify your Outlook is fully updated
- Check your OneDrive and attachment settings
- Settings to Verify:
- Go to File → Options → Save and Attach
- Confirm your default save locations
- Check "Save attachments when dragged from an email message" is enabled
- Alternative Methods:
- Right-click the file
- Choose "Save As"
- Select your desired folder manually
- Use the "Attach" function when composing an email
If none of these work, you might need to:
- Repair your Office 365 installation
- Reinstall Outlook
- Check with your IT department about any specific organizational settings
