outlook - after clsoing outlook it wont open

Question

We have office 365 with outlook word excel powerpoint.

All is working good except when we need to close outlook.

After closing outlook it wont open again , only if we end task, outlook in the task manager- kill the

process .

What could be causing this ? and what could the solution be to this problem?

Most likely some add-in or another process is causing this, try disabling any such add-ins and scanning software (AV, backups, etc). Running Outlook in safe mode (hold the CTRL key while launching it) might help narrow things down.
