Not receiving emails
Because messages from individuals still arrive while several companies’ messages do not, the next useful evidence is a specific failed delivery, not another general check of storage or forwarding. Several affected senders do not by themselves prove where delivery is failing.
First compare the mailbox directly in Outlook on the web with the desktop app. If the messages are missing in both, ask two affected companies for the exact sending time, recipient address, and delivery log or non-delivery report for a fresh test. An order-confirmation system saying “sent” is not proof that your mailbox accepted it.
For a work or school Exchange Online mailbox, the administrator can use message trace to distinguish received, rejected, deferred, or delivered messages and inspect quarantine. For personal Outlook, give Support those concrete sender examples and SMTP responses. Safe-sender entries cannot by themselves diagnose upstream rejection, so a guaranteed local fix cannot be inferred yet.
