Issues with outlook and teams on android

I'm not sure why, but since yesterday both Teams and Outlook have quit working. I have an S25 Ultra. I attempted to clear data and cache and do a fresh install. Outlook just hangs on a black screen with the notification "optimizing database," and Teams just indefinitely loads.

 

I can't check my personal email or my work email and can't keep track of my work chats on Teams.

    If the answer from hpope​ doesn't fix it for you, another workaround, from Reddit Outlook, is to Turn off Private DNS.

    • On Samsung devices: Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS
    • Change from Automatic to Off.
    • Reboot

    Go into your settings then apps and find Android System WebView and click the 3 dots and remove updates. Then open Teams or Outlook and it will have you sign back in and it should work. Had the same issue for over a week and that resolved it.
