Is there a way to setup Outlook add-ins open up in new window instead of a sidebar?

Hi guys,

Hope you are doing great. I am trying to resolve issue for a member where he wants certain add-in (Egnyte) behaviour to change (or to be more precise - to revert to old behaviour) where add-in would pop-up in new window.

The way it is now (it opens up in sidebar within Outlook) is not satisfactory to him.

My search/prompts for this solution were ineffective so far.

Any help or advice if I can make this customization are welcome.
