Combining contacts

I've got Windows 10, with the May update. The Person's app allows me to place contacts on my taskbar. Love this feature! I have placed my family there. One thing that it's doing now is showing me...

Rod-FEgal welche Kontakte du meinst. Das Adressbuch ist in Outlook, Mail und Peoples. Es wird überall gleich angezeigt. Das einzige was deutlich schwieriger zu verstehen ist, ist folgendes. Ein Kontakt aus z.B. Skype kann doppelt und öfter angezeigt werden (Outlook, X-Box, Skype). Du kannst diesen Kontakt mit einem der anderen Kontakte zusammenführen. Dazu musst du nur die Peoples App starten und dann den Kontakt auswählen auf zusammenführen klicken.

Sio_xSo then it doesn't matter, which I choose? Outlook, the People app and Windows Mail will combine them together? Well, that's good. Thank you.

Rod-FYes, I see you understand it. In the past all contacts, may were separate contacts in every app. e.g. Outlook, Skype, X-Box. Now Microsoft has merged it.
