Attachement date of outlook classic
when i download the attachment from old email, the date of the file, should be today date, but that doesn't happen, it appears the old date of when it was created. In a big folder of downloads i cant...
Hi Peterbest, Outlook often preserves the file's original modified date when downloading an attachment, so the file may not sort as today by Date modified. In File Explorer, sort by Date created or use the Downloads folder view grouped by Date added if available. Another simple workaround is to save attachments into a dedicated folder per day. It is annoying, but it is usually Windows preserving file metadata rather than Outlook failing the download.
