"Accidental" email archiving during typo correction
Hi,
Since the last outlook update, me and my collegaues discovered a supper annoying but very useless feature.
So when we are writing an email and we make a typo, that we notice and try to correct. In torder to do that we (left)click in the word, where the typo is, the outlook gives us some inteligent suggestions what could be the correct word, but if you don't choose any of those options (please note that in hungarian it is rarely accurate) but you try to manually correct the typo and hit the delete or backspace keys, to delete teh misspelled character, and outlook archives an email instead ( most of the users don't notice they have archived an email, just that it didn't deleted the character they wanted, so they hittinn the key a few more times resulting a bunch of emails being archived accidentally).
To some up, I click on the word where teh typo is, the cursor flashes at the place between the leters as it shoudl be the entire word is highlighted, I see the spellig suggestions and if I hit any of the backspace od delete keys it archives an email, just like it would think my coursor is not where I see it, but on my email list, point one of the emails.
Any idea how can I get rid of this feautre?

This has been driving me nuts! I knew I kept getting emails going to archive but wasn't able to figure out what the trigger was until today. When I finally figured it out, I came in here to see if others had noticed it too. Thank you for posting!
I do have a small workaround to avoid it, but not a fix to stop it for good (cough code release cough). The problem only happens when you're working from a reply (or forward) that is within the frame of the Outlook app, and doesn't happen on a version of the same message that has been popped out to a new window. So for an individual message where you want to make sure to avoid it, use the pop out to new window button then compose the message.
And for the person who's annoyed by this frequently, they may want to set their application default to always pop out on compose and reply.
I notice that the popped out window also is a little friendlier on that point of where it's suggesting the solution. It still doesn't want you to just start typing over or backspacing or deleting the word, but it seems to respond a little better if you do a double-click on the word, that hover card disappears a little faster and you can start working on the change you want to make.

This is such a Microsoft solution.
Most replies will not be in pop out boxes hence this happens with almost every reply. I end up archiving almost every important email thread. It is such a nuisance. I m at 5 mins per day - checking un-archiving emails.
