Syncing Minecraft Worlds to Onedrive

You’re right — just uploading your Minecraft *saves* folder to OneDrive won’t auto-sync while you play. OneDrive doesn’t monitor live changes unless the folder is actually inside your OneDrive directory.
To fix that:
- 1. Move your **.minecraft\saves** folder into your **OneDrive/Documents** folder.
2. Then make a shortcut (or symbolic link) from that new location back to the original saves path so Minecraft still finds it.
That way, your worlds will stay synced automatically while you play.
BTW, if you ever test mods or launch minecraft mobile, the same sync logic applies — you’ll just need to link the right folder.
