Photos App - OneDrive Memories does not work

I cannot sign in to the Memories section in the Photos App even though it shows my OneDrive folders in the App

    Quick question first: are you signed into the Photos app with a personal Microsoft account (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com) or a work/school account?

    Memories only works with personal OneDrive accounts. Work accounts show folders but Memories is disabled by design.

    If it is personal, try this:

    1. Go to onedrive.com and sign in
    2. Click Settings (gear icon) then Options
    3. Look for Notifications and make sure "On This Day" is enabled
    4. In the Photos app, sign out completely then sign back in

    Let me know which account type you're using and we can narrow it down from there.

      Hi

      Yes, it is a personal Microsoft account (outlook.com).

      The "On This Day" option was already enabled

      There is no sign out option in the Photos app.

       

      What I have tried is:

      1. Turn off the "On This Day" option
      2. Turn on the "On This Day" option

      The above did not help so also tried to: 

      1. Reset the Photos app (to simulate a sign out and sign back in)
      2. Opened the Photos app and attempted to login again but it still did not work.
      3. Unlinked OneDrive in the OneDrive app and then signed back in after Restarting my device.

      This also did not work.
