Photo comments not backup to OneDrive
I frequently add comments/descriptions to the pictures in my Android and iPhone, however after spending a few nights backing up my albums, I found out only the photo files are uploaded and no comment...
So far I Know…OneDrive does not support uploading or syncing comments or descriptions that are added to photos directly in Android or iPhone photo galleries. The reason for this is that photo metadata such as comments, captions, or tags, which are often stored in EXIF or XMP formats, is not typically handled by OneDrive during the upload process.
Alternatively, you can manually add descriptions on OneDrive via the web interface, but these won’t sync automatically from your phone or tablet. You might want to consider using Google Photos or Apple Photos. Once synced, you could always manually upload the photos from Google Photos to OneDrive, but this may not fully replicate the comments.
