I appreciate there are many(!) general OneDrive vault issues floating around but I wondered does anyone have a solution to a very specific oddity which has rendered OneDrive useless to me - and hence is preventing me purchasing it for use with my small business. Multiple Windows 11 PCs (all up to date, clean etc etc) - OneDrive working correctly, access personal vault and authenticate, all good can see files and access them. One PC hard-line ethernet, the other via WiFi OneDrive website - all working correctly including vault. Samsung Galaxy S10FE Android phone (all up to date, patched, clean etc etc). OneDrive app (v7.32.1) is working fine except for the vault... after authentication (PIN or Biometric I've tried both), the vault appears empty. Upon refreshing, it throws a nonsense "not connected to wifi/mobile data" error. Things to note... all devices are signed into the same MS account, I've tried different WiFi, just mobile data vs WiFi, I've uninstalled, rolled back to factory, cleared cache, reset app, logged-out and logged-back in again. Nothing root'ed or custom on the 'phone, just plain android with Samsung setup. I've confirmed definitely connected - as evidenced by other files upload and download fine, speedtest app shows steady 500/70 on the wifi. Also tried the same version of the app on a cheapie Motorola android phone, exactly the same issue. Can anyone help here - anyone else seen this? I need to make a decision as to whether to subscribe for my SB but currently it's useless - the vault is primarily what we need. Thanks in advance.68Views0likes2CommentsSearch function on Onedrive for iOS not working
I have noticed that the search function on Onedrive for IPhone has stopped working and wondered if anyone else has had the same problem. I contacted MS support directly from within the app and received a reply which acknowledges that it is a real problem that they are working on but who knows when it will be resolved.569Views6likes12CommentsOnedrive not uploading photos from my phone since early April 2025
Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra and 2 Windows PC's. Since I purchased the Samsung phone I set Onedrive to upload photos through the "Camera upload" option NOT the "Gallery sync". If the phone is a Samsung, "Camera upload" button will be automatically hidden. But still, it still uploads photos if "Gallery sync" is switched off. Since I purchased the S23, "Gallery sync" I always kept it switched off. I don't want to use "Gallery sync" for 2 reasons : On my Windows PC I get duplicated photos, each photos are in : "\OneDrive\Pictures\Camera Roll" AND in "\OneDrive\Pictures\Galerie Samsung\DCIM\Camera" I don't like the path "\OneDrive\Pictures\Galerie Samsung\DCIM\Camera". When all my photos are in "\OneDrive\Pictures\", I think it's better organized. So even if "Gallery sync" was switched off and "Camera upload" is hidden, everything was working well since 2023 and my PC got all photos from my phone. Until the second of April 2025 when suddenly it stopped syncing. I think there was a OneDrive Android app update on the same day. How can I get my "Camera upload"? Also I think Microsoft should be users the choice between "Camera upload" and "Gallery sync", and both options should be visible. Help! My company is piloting Office 365 (minus exchange for now). We had commercial license but just switched to GCC (Govt) account and migrated our domain a couple of days ago. Now, when users log back into OneDrive for Business on their iPhone or iPad, none of their files are displayed. Actually the only section displayed at all is 'Libraries' with no option to switch to files view. However OneDrive works fine for the same users on the web or on the desktop app, all files are there and they can interact with them as normal. What am I missing? Is there some global setting that is preventing the file functionality from working on mobile devices?Solved18KViews1like11CommentsPeople menu not showing in OneDrive
I recently migrated my photos from Google Photos to OneDrive. One of the features I would like to use is face recognition, but this option doesn't appear for me. In fact, it seems that anything related to AI isn't working. Does anyone know why?176Views0likes1CommentOnedrive App problem in Android
I am using on work site Onedrive to access company files. I have Samsung S9 tab in use and I do have Office365 contract. Problem is that I can only open few (PDF) files untill onedrive do not allow me to open more files. If I close app t again works for awhile until problem appears again. Either there is blank screen, The file is opened quickly and then screen goes white blank Or there comes pop up saying "File cannot be opened due to the file is moved or I do no have rights for it" Very annoying problem which prevents me doing my job on site. I have a video clip about the problem here: https://jmp.sh/s/jQ7HKR3DamYmG0AuwYLM65Views0likes0CommentsPhoto comments not backup to OneDrive
I frequently add comments/descriptions to the pictures in my Android and iPhone, however after spending a few nights backing up my albums, I found out only the photo files are uploaded and no comments are included. Is there a way to upload with comments or is that a limitation of OneDrive?116Views0likes1Comment
