OneDrive online not searchable
You can try the following.
Clear browser cache or try a different browser
Sometimes it’s a cached session issue:
Try opening OneDrive in Incognito/Private Mode
Try using a different browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)
Clear browser cache and cookies
Log out and back in again.
Hope this helps you
Thanks, but didn't work. Per Microsoft, they are aware of the issue, don't know what causes it, say there are no workarounds, and have no ETA when they will fix it. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/fixes-or-workarounds-for-recent-issues-in-onedrive-36110213-f3f6-490d-8cb7-3833539def0b?utm_source=chatgpt.com

I think this issue appears to be a server-side bug on Microsoft's end—not something end users can fix locally.
Unfortunately, this is a known issue on Microsoft's side with no official fix or ETA at this time. Multiple users are affected, and even Microsoft acknowledges that:
“We’re aware of the problem, currently investigating, and there are no workarounds available.”

Until search is fixed, users can manually browse folders to access files (though tedious).Or…
Use OneDrive on desktop (if possible)
If users can install the OneDrive desktop client (Windows or macOS), search might work locally on synced files.Right now, it is a Microsoft-side bug. There’s no workaround that reliably fixes the problem from the user end. Until they resolve it, the best course of action is to:
- Stay updated via Microsoft’s page
- Use alternative access methods (desktop client or mobile app) if possible
Sometimes a little patience helps...wait and see.
