OneDrive is soooooooooooooooooooooo slow!
I have yet to see any solid data on this "slowness". Everything is anecdotal. No one has a direct comparison between any alternatives for a file(s) of the same size uploading to alternative network storage.
One factor that may make OneDrive slower than an upload to an FTP site, Azure Files, SMB (in an office environment) may be that it's interruptible. If you have a network glitch, OneDrive will continue its upload or download once that's resolved. That's got to be that it's tracking where its at in a file transfer. I can't see why that would be significant though.
I have gigabit internet and OneDrive downloads at 700kb/s. And I'm not the OP. Sounds like you can't accept the terrible download speed as fact. You're the only one in this thread who doesn't have slow speed.
