Mac OneDrive for Business

I am trying to figure out how to prevent the OneDrive for Business client for Mac to stop crashing. It appears the crash is related to Keynote files which embed graphics files with file names in the paths that cause OneDrive to chock. I have asked for help at ISTE and NCCE conference from Microsoft personnel, but have not heard back from them in email. Any help here possible?
