Copy Paste issues within OneDrive web-based
Minesoriginal The clipboard is not a OneDrive-managed feature or something stored in a browser cache. It is in the host environment, which includes your browser and operating system.
What you might be seeing is a limitation on the undo buffer, and that is probably connected to the number of edits you have done in a session and the complexity of the document.

But it only is an issue between OneDrive documents. I can copy from an outlook email into the onedrive document or between other browsers. I managed to do 5 out of 8 documents when it just pooped the bed and has been stuck like this. now I cant even copy a single word between onedrive documents.

My experience does exclude your response, though, as I have the benefit of having access to multiple machines and browsers, and can confirm the suspected behavior. Copy works for the same file published to a different site, using the same browser, however, while using the onedrive site and different browsers, the context menu does not pop up (tested chrome, edge, and firefox). Further, the behavior of allowing the context menu to display and thereby making the copy function of the browser readily available was observed in the recent past, just in December of 05. Add in the history of MS pushing new "features" that are designed to mold user behavior in a way that benefits MS, like removing traditional menus from Office applications before pushing users to use web based versions of office apps (which perform horribly, btw), that are easier to control licensing for. This also, IMO, is an attempt to change user behavior to use the sharing feature, and thereby become dependent on cloud storage as your only way to access your media (and other) files. Since it is a subscription based service, you are then locked in to a monthly fee.
