2FA FAILED it seems....

Long time Google Drive user finally switching to One Drive today! Until a concerning incident happened. 

I was logged into my Microsoft Account. I attempted to access my current One Drive. It required my password (good thing) then it started 2FA (also good thing). The problem is it was soooo easy to bypass 2FA and see my files. 

Given "other ways to verity" I was curious. One of the methods was "enter your password." I did and it allowed me into the files. If someone has my password they can easily bypass the 2FA just like I did. Is MS Aware of this? I may have to stay where I'm at now?
