why some meeting recording are still valid although we set a defualt expiration to be 60 days
We have the following settings:-
where the Default expiration time for the meeting recording is 60 days, but why we have some meeting for more than 12 months and they are still valid?
Thanks
john john Correct, it's a default. It also interacts with the Retention and Deletion policies set for files as described at the document I linked.
john john This policy only effects meeting recording created after the policy was enabled, if you have meetings recorded prior to this policy being set they will either last forever or follow a previous policy. See Manage meeting policies for recording and transcription - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
