Who verifies Teams Meeting summary accurately reflects what was actually agreed in the meeting
Can we really trust AI-generated meeting summaries?
Microsoft Teams and Copilot can create impressive meeting summaries, action items, and insights.
But a question remains:
Who verifies that the summary accurately reflects what was actually agreed in the meeting?
In many organisations, meeting notes become the basis for:
- project decisions
- customer commitments
- compliance records
- accountability for actions
Yet when there is disagreement, we often hear:
- "That is not what I said."
- "I don't remember agreeing to that."
- "The summary missed the context."
How is your organisation handling this today?
Do you:
- Trust AI-generated summaries as they are?
- Have a human review process?
- Keep the original transcript/audio as evidence?
- Use another approach?
Interested to hear how Teams users are managing this challenge.
