When forwarding to a mobile phone, can the phone number of the original caller be displayed

It won't really be covered under Microsoft. It will be your SBC config.
The original calling number will be in the FROM field sent by Microsoft to your SBC and then the Teams users number (the one that forwarded the call) will be the PAI.
The SBC will be using the PAI as the Calling Number so sending that to the carrier. Just needs a config change on the SBC to sort this.
