Very bad microphone quality (Linux)

frenkybojler Same issue. Just had a first meeting, but had to resort to text chat. Overall this would be a good port of Teams for Linux, if this one bug is solved.
My system:
Mint x64 20.1 on a Dell Latitude
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz
16G ram
ALC3246 Analog sound device
Not a fix, but posting a workaround that will hopefully help.
For me teams for linux will mic will only work correctly if the audio volume is set to exactly 20% for the mic input in pulse audio. No idea why, but it works for me and appears to be working for some others.
