ChristianJBergstrom just to add another request - I am struggling with only being able to use one workstream and having to logout and back in to manage a critical project where the document repository and comms is held by a third party teams group.
Please keep pushing for devleopment.
- Dec 23, 2021Now when it’s public have a look at the new AAD Direct Connect, shared channels/Teams connect is not federation as we know it.

All I really need is to be able to add external accounts as full-fledged members and this problem goes away. No more switching tenancy nonsense. As a teams user I only ever need one primary account. As a Teams administrator I no longer need to create a special account for anyone and can just give access to an external account.
As for being far behind, yes, compared to all the other platforms out there. Teams is ubiquitous because it comes with Office 365, but it's a pale imitation of platforms like Slack.
