Users get kicked out from Teams private channels when they are blocked on Active Directory
Hi all,
My customer block users on AD when they are on vacation, but the issue is that they lose access to their private channels on Teams right after. They need to be added one by one all again once they return.
Is it something we can work around or Teams is designed like this?

- EWoodrickIron ContributorI think that your customer needs to find another way to handle vacations than disabling users. This is actually the first time that I've ever heard it done. All of my customers just let them go on vacation. Disabling the account is an administrative nightmare.
- kyeviBrass ContributorHi, Ed!
I totally agree with you, however I'm trying to find some official MS Teams docs regarding this. I couldnt find any.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your reply!- Alexander_AurasCopper ContributorFound this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/channels/logon-reenabled-user-not-see-previous-joined-teams
Just in case it is still relevant.
