Upgrade for non-profit organziation?
Hi! We're a very new non-profit organization which offers psychological crisis management services to medical staff affected by the Corona crisis. We're using Teams for our entire internal organizational process. Since I created the organization on Teams, I'm currently the only administrator, which is annoying in a group of 200+ people for a number of reasons (I'm the only one who can accept new requests, the only one who can add new members since there's no way to give these permissions to just team owners and allowing all members to have them would be chaotic).
The way I understand it, an upgrade is required in order to enable me to give admin rights to the other in the organization team. Is that right and if so, is there a chance we could get it for free (since we're non-profit and if we wanted to spend money we'd have to collect donations first)?

Subscribe to 1x O365 E3 license for yourself and then allocate E1 licenses to all users.
The E1 licenses are free for non-profits.
I work for a mid sized non profit. We have 100x E3 but 1000x E1 for all our volunteers. We also have multiple Admins for Teams.
Hope that helps. Hi juliarunil
Yes the Solution you are looking for is to have an additional Admin who can take care of the Microsoft Teams Administrative Work for the Teams Space. This is definitely possible in Microsoft Teams. Here is the Solution
1. In the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center Create a user account and provide the user with the Microsoft Teams Administrator Rights.
Kindly ensure that you do not assign any license to the user account. For all the Admin Task User can perform the same from the Teams Admin Center.
Let me know if this answers your query.

- juliarunilCopper ContributorHi Satish! Thanks for your response! This would answer my problem, except we currently use the free version of Teams and the Admin Center is only available for paid subscription users (according to what I read here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/manage-freemium)Since we're a Corona-relief-related non-profit, would it be possible to get this upgrade by Microsoft for free? Whom would we have to contact?Best,Julia
- Option1 Reach out to Microsoft 18008659408 to change the membership.
Option2 Make a common user and add him as a owner in all the Microsoft Teams to do the Administrative Task
