Unable to Remove Word Tab

Have you tried
1.) In the web client (https://teams.microsoft.com)
2.) On the mobile app
3.) Completely logging out the desktop client and back in then try removal
4.) Completely logging out, flushing the cache, and then back in to remove

Thanks ChrisHoardMVP, I was able to remove the tab on the mobile app. I had previously tried the web client and there were access issues.
