UI change to the org switching feature in Teams desktop

Just had my Windows Teams desktop client updated, and noticed that in addition to receiving the new "Add a personal account" login feature, they've also gone and re-done how org switching is done - it's now buried behind an additional mouse click. For someone like myself who is in constant org-switching mode this isn't the end of the world, but it certainly isn't "great" to place yet another obstacle to seamless org switching in the way when it's supposed to be getting easier.  :unamused:

  • Hi MTSBob   You might want to go to the Teams Uservoice feedback forum and make the suggestion for making the switch easier (with an example if you have one).  The new feature is definitely better than using the desktop app for one account and the web browser for another (the prior way of doing it) but there is always room for improvement.  When you open a ticket on UV, other users can vote on it and you will be kept informed of its progress.  Thank you for being a member of the community.

I'm referring specifically to the situation that many of us were already in where we're members of multiple orgs *as guests*.

It may be better in so far as that it now allows you to be simultaneously sign into a personal/consumer org, in addition to a business/enterprise org, but it's not better when it comes to ease of switching between the existing b/e orgs that you're already a guest in - the drop down list of orgs is now buried behind a second-level menu instead of being a single click drop-down choice. In that regard, it's a step back. I've already posted to UV. Admittedly it's a minor issue, that probably affects very few people.
