Two accounts same email?
I have two accounts that currently use different emails, but one account uses a dead email. I would like to change it to the same email as the other one while keeping the accounts separate. Is that a possibility?

No, you cannot use the same email address for multiple accounts. The usual workaround is to configure some sort of forwarding, so that messages addressed to both end up in the same destination. The available options will depend on the type of account you use, and the provider.

Yes, you can change the email on one account to match the other while keeping them separate. Simply update the email in the account settings, ensuring the email isn't already in use. Just make sure the accounts aren't linked (you may need to adjust aliases or user roles) and check recovery options to avoid login issues

Unfortunately, you can’t use the same email address for two separate Microsoft accounts—even if one of the emails is no longer active. Each account must have a unique email.
One workaround could be to add an alias (a secondary email) to one of the accounts, but you still won’t be able to make both accounts share the exact same primary email.
